Hi! I’m Ahmed Masoud - Palestinian writer, director and academic based in the UK.

About me

I’m a writer and director who grew up in the Gaza Strip and based in London. Some of my work includes; the acclaimed novel Vanished – The Mysterious Disappearance of Mustafa Ouda (Rimal, 2015) and A Death in the Old City (previously entitled) Come What May. My Theatre and Radio Drama credits include; Application 39 (London stage play 2025 and radio version  WDR Radio, Germany 2018), The Florist of Rafah (London 2024) Passport, Mo Salah, Jinn and Other Complicated Things (London and Liverpool 2022) Camouflage (London, 2017), The Shroud Maker (London 2015 – still touring), Walaa, Loyalty (London 2014), and Escape from Gaza (BBC Radio 4, 2011).
